Role Overview
An entry-level IT Support Specialist is needed to join a fully remote team in Australia. The position is full-time and suited to someone who is enthusiastic about solving technology issues, helping users, and growing a career in IT support.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver remote help for problems related to hardware, software, and overall system performance.
- Handle incoming support queries via email, chat, phone, and ticketing platforms.
- Investigate and resolve user-reported technical issues efficiently.
- Support account creation, password recovery, and access permissions.
- Walk users through fixes and technical steps in a clear, user-friendly way.
- Keep complete and accurate logs of requests, fixes, and system changes.
- Help with software setup, version updates, and system configuration tasks.
- Forward more complex issues to senior IT team members when escalation is needed.
