Role overview
This role is for a careful and analytical Junior Data Analyst who will help with data gathering, reporting, and business intelligence work that supports better business decisions and stronger organizational results. The position is well-suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, spotting patterns, and turning raw information into useful insights.
What you will do
You will handle data from multiple sources by collecting it, arranging it properly, checking it for accuracy, and analyzing it to support operational, financial, and strategic priorities. The role involves working with large datasets while protecting data quality, consistency, and confidentiality.
Day-to-day work may include building reports, dashboards, and performance summaries; cleaning and validating data; tracking data quality; identifying trends and patterns; and helping with business performance analysis. You may also assist with database maintenance, produce insights that can guide decisions, support forecasting and planning, contribute to process improvements, and work with different teams to meet reporting and analysis needs.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should be comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of data analysis methods, basic statistics, data visualization, and good reporting practices will be very useful.
We are looking for someone with strong numerical thinking, sharp attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to explain findings clearly and concisely. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to manage several tasks at once while meeting deadlines are all important. You should be able to work independently and also collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred background
A background in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline is preferred. Experience in reporting, research, administration, operations support, data management, or analytical projects will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with reporting tools, database systems, business intelligence platforms, data visualization software, SQL, or other analytical applications is also helpful.
