About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the development, testing, and upkeep of data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Facilitate the integration of data from various sources into unified data repositories.
- Contribute to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of datasets.
- Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to fulfill data requirements.
- Assist in managing, optimizing, and documenting databases.
- Participate in diagnosing and resolving data-related challenges.

Requirements
- Possess 0-3 years of experience in data-related roles, internships, or academic projects.
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python.
- Exhibit familiarity with core data concepts including ETL, APIs, and database systems.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Show a keen interest in learning data engineering tools and cloud platforms.
- Communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.
- Be fluent in English.
- Reside in New Zealand and hold legal authorization for full-time employment.
