Junior Frontend Engineer

Role overview

Hellios Information is hiring a Junior Frontend Engineer to join its technology team in Dublin. The role focuses on building and supporting the front end of web applications used for supplier information and risk management. These products help industry communities rely on accurate, compliant data throughout supply chain and procurement processes.

The position reports to the Software Development Manager and involves close collaboration with developers across functions. The work is centered on improving the user experience and maintaining reliable web-based systems that sit at the core of the company's service offering.

Work location

This is a blended working role, split between the HTSL office in Dublin 15 and working from home.

What you will do

• Build and enhance user interface features for the company’s web-based supplier management platform.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of frontend web applications.
• Work in an agile environment and help produce clean, testable, and scalable code.
• Contribute ideas that improve the company’s software products and internal technology.
• Take part in daily scrum meetings and help maintain open, collaborative communication within the team.

Technology environment

The current stack includes React, TypeScript, ECMAScript 6, C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Git, Azure DevOps, AWS, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and PHP.

Experience and qualifications

The company is looking for someone with strong frontend development capability, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, ICT, or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
