Role overview

Join a respected construction business in South Dublin as a Junior Quantity Surveyor. The position offers a salary of €55,000, along with a company vehicle, pension support, and a hybrid working arrangement. You will work on prominent residential and commercial developments across Leinster and build your experience in a encouraging, growth-focused environment.

In this role, you will support a Senior Quantity Surveyor and gain hands-on exposure to the full commercial cycle, from early-stage pre-construction activity through to final account close-out.

Key responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day commercial oversight of construction projects.
  • Help prepare subcontractor packages and procurement schedules.
  • Assist with valuations, contract variations, and final account preparation.
  • Track project expenditure and contribute to budget updates.
  • Carry out quantity measurements and produce cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist with contract administration and document management.
  • Support monthly cost reporting and forecasting work.
  • Follow commercial procedures and maintain company standards.

Requirements

  • A degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a closely related construction field.
  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying position, preferably in construction.
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
  • A full driving licence is preferred.
