Role overview
We are looking for a commercially minded Key Account Manager focused on logistics to help expand business across the United States. In this position, you will uncover, develop, and win new opportunities in e-commerce, parcel distribution, industrial operations, and supply chain automation. You will serve as a trusted partner to customers by turning operational challenges into practical, technically robust logistics and material-handling solutions.
The role involves working with large and complex environments, including logistics warehouse integrators, and creating value through offerings such as weighing, inspection, labeling, and vision systems. It blends account leadership, consultative selling, and solution design, with close coordination across sales, engineering, and consulting functions.
Key responsibilities
- Find and pursue new business prospects in logistics, parcel, warehouse automation, and industrial markets.
- Build and actively manage a healthy sales funnel through prospecting, networking, and outbound outreach.
- Deliver against revenue and booking goals for the assigned territory.
- Move opportunities smoothly from first contact to signed contract.
- Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers in large, multi-location operations.
- Act as the main customer contact across the full client journey.
- Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate additional revenue.
- Support strong customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
- Review customer workflows, including throughput, facility layout, and process design.
- Assess supply chain challenges and operational requirements.
- Convert customer needs into customized logistics, automation, and technology solutions.
- Recommend suitable equipment and system setups, including weighing, inspection, labeling, and vision solutions.
- Build and present tailored solutions that align with customer goals.
- Work with sales and engineering teams to design optimized system layouts.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders so solutions meet customer expectations and company standards.
- Prepare strong proposals, presentations, and technical documents.
- Help onboard and implement new clients for a smooth handover and delivery.
- Lead customer meetings, demonstrations, trials, and presentations.
- Engage stakeholders from engineering, operations, and procurement.
- Draft proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close business.
- Research market conditions and customer needs to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Stay current on logistics automation, parcel operations, and competitor activity.
- Maintain solid knowledge of the company’s solutions, applications, and value proposition.
- Share insights that improve go-to-market planning and sales effectiveness.
- Provide market feedback to support product development and ongoing improvement.
Candidate profile
Applicants should bring a strong background in key account management, business development, or solution-based sales within logistics, intralogistics, or automation. A well-developed network in logistics, parcel sortation, warehouse automation, and systems integrator circles is required.
The ideal candidate understands supply chain operations, warehouse workflows, or parcel distribution and has experience selling or supporting technical solutions such as automation, material handling, inspection, or vision systems. The role also calls for comfort handling complex sales processes and engaging several stakeholders at once.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities are essential, along with the capability to translate technical needs into commercially viable solutions. We are looking for someone self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving growth environment.
