About The Role
Rosewood Lifecare, situated in North Linwood, Christchurch, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a casual basis (as and when required, not on a regular schedule) for AM, PM, and Weekend shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about culinary work to make a significant positive impact on the lives of our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, can-do attitude, understand the importance of good food for well-being, and excel at interpersonal interactions. As a Kitchen Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist in preparing wholesome, nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring all individual dietary needs are met. Reliability and a willingness to help are essential.
Your Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in catering and food service, preferably within a commercial kitchen environment, though on-the-job training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for food preparation and delivering an exceptional dining experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
- A sincere desire to help others, coupled with excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive demeanor.
- Proven ability to deliver work to a high-quality standard.

Additional Information
This is a casual position, meaning work is not guaranteed on a regular basis. The role is located in Christchurch City, Canterbury, New Zealand.
