Role overview

Dalata Hotel Group is looking for a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team in Sligo, County Sligo. This is a hands-on role in a busy hotel kitchen, where you’ll help keep operations running smoothly and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Key duties

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Follow guidance from managers and help ensure cooking equipment, crockery, and kitchen utensils are always available and clean.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and hygienic at all times.
• Work with the culinary team to uphold HACCP food safety standards.

What you need

• Some prior experience in a kitchen environment.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• The ability to work well with others or independently when needed.
