Role Overview
Sprout & Co is preparing to launch a new site in South County Dublin later this summer, and hiring is now open for kitchen team members. The business is built around serving food that is both nutritious and full of flavour, with the kitchen team playing a central role in delivering fresh dishes to a high standard every day.
This opportunity suits someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in a fast-moving environment. The role reports to the General Manager. Both full-time and part-time contracts are available, and the hourly rate ranges from €14.50 to €15.25 depending on experience and the specific role.
What You Will Do
- Follow food safety procedures carefully so that every item served meets required safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, making sure tools and equipment are properly sanitised and safe to use.
- Work with allergen awareness to help ensure meals are prepared safely for customers with dietary needs.
- Use prep sheets and support accurate, consistent food preparation to keep service running smoothly.
- Prepare food with care for flavour and presentation, keeping quality front of mind at all times.
- Learn and apply menu knowledge, ingredients, and operating procedures to support efficient, consistent service.
- Assist the Kitchen Leader with stock counts, rotation, and day-to-day kitchen coordination.
- Step into different tasks as needed during busy periods and help on the service line when required.
