Role overview

Mouser Electronics is hiring an experienced Kronos Specialist to support and evolve its workforce management technology environment. This role is based in Pune Division, Maharashtra, India and focuses on improving Kronos-related solutions across timekeeping, leave, accruals, attendance, integrations, and production support. The position calls for strong technical depth, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to work across design, development, testing, and change management activities.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the design and optimization of Kronos solutions that support IT operations, business workflows, security, and data accuracy.
  • Help assess and implement new Kronos releases and service packs, including related testing and recommendation activities.
  • Take part in the full development lifecycle, from early concept discussions through architecture, execution, testing, and documentation.
  • Strengthen and maintain development practices, including standards for coding, documentation, quality assurance, testing, and change control.
  • Create and support Kronos standards for timekeeping, leave, accruals, and attendance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and production issues promptly, and propose preventive measures to reduce repeat problems.
  • Support Kronos strategy discussions with stakeholders to help align priorities across teams.
  • Work on product and platform improvements by quickly understanding requirements and adapting architecture as needed.
  • Assist in planning efforts to ensure IT resources are aligned efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members on integration-related work, including exposure to Oracle Fusion and third-party payroll processors.

Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Kronos, with working knowledge of Kronos 8.1 or earlier versions.
  • Exposure to modern technology stacks, including Dell Boomi, and architectural patterns ranging from traditional systems to microservices and cloud-enabled environments.
  • Hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Workforce Integration Manager and/or WFM, with relevant certification required.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Visio in daily tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, high standards for quality, and a strong sense of ownership over the code and solutions delivered.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Familiarity with new technology trends, software development best practices, and evolving industry standards.
