About the Role
A reputable, Northland-based landscaping company specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects is seeking enthusiastic entry-level and intermediate landscapers for their Kaitaia branch. This is a permanent, full-time position offering long-term career growth within a company committed to quality and a positive work culture. We provide comprehensive hard and soft landscaping solutions, from initial design through to implementation and ongoing garden maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Execute hard and soft landscaping tasks according to project plans and company standards.
- Perform garden maintenance duties, ensuring high-quality results.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
- Work independently on assigned tasks, demonstrating initiative and efficiency.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license and steel-capped safety boots is mandatory.
- Must be physically fit and strong to handle the demands of landscaping work.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent English communication skills are essential.
- Previous experience in horticulture and/or hard and soft landscaping is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles is beneficial.
- A qualification in horticulture or landscaping is a plus, but not strictly required for candidates with the right attitude and potential.
- A keen, long-term interest in pursuing a career in landscaping.
- An eye for detail and a commitment to high standards in all tasks.
- Professional presentation suitable for a high-end service company.
- Willingness to learn new skills and share existing knowledge.
