Wynn Al Marjan Island is an upscale beachfront resort destination planned for launch in the United Arab Emirates in 2027. Set less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the development is being built on a scenic island in the Arabian Gulf and will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.

Role Overview

The resort is looking for a Laundry Attendant to join the Linen and Laundry team. This position supports the day-to-day handling of guest garments, linens, and laundry operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Separate soiled linens and guest clothing by fabric, colour, and washing requirements.
• Use washers, dryers, and pressing machines in a safe and effective manner.
• Finish clean items by folding, hanging, or packing them according to standard process.
• Check items for damage or stains and escalate concerns to the supervisor.
• Use detergents and chemicals correctly and in line with safety rules.
• Keep the laundry work area clean, neat, and well organized.
• Assist with moving laundry items between guest rooms, departments, and designated collection points.
• Help with stock counts and flag shortages or mismatches.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and infection-control requirements.
• Handle guest laundry requests carefully and accurately.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Candidate Profile

The preferred candidate should have prior exposure to laundry or housekeeping work, ideally within a hotel or resort environment. A good grasp of textile care, stain treatment, and garment handling is important, along with the ability to operate laundry equipment and observe safety procedures. The role also requires physical stamina for lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods, as well as strong attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
