Laundry Attendant

About the Role

The Laundry Attendant will support the laundry and dry-cleaning operations at a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi. This role helps maintain smooth day-to-day production for guest laundry and uniforms, while also carrying out inventory checks and other tasks assigned by management.

The hotel is part of a globally recognized luxury hospitality brand known for refined service and elegant guest experiences. The Abu Dhabi property features 283 guest rooms, including 55 suites, and offers views of the Arabian Gulf and the city. It is located at Nation Tower, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key Duties

• Receive guest laundry items and record them properly.
• Inform the supervisor about any missing or damaged guest laundry.
• Use the tagging equipment for guest laundry items.
• Operate the micros system when applicable.
• Hand over guest laundry to the butler team as required.
• Separate dried linens by type.
• Fold cleaned items and place them in the correct storage area.
• Identify and sort torn or stained room linen and food-and-beverage linen.
• Count and verify linens against laundry requisitions.
• Treat contaminated items through soaking and stain-removal processes.
• Keep the laundry area clean by removing lint and sweeping the room.
• Load items into washers and select the appropriate wash program.
• Run laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironers as instructed.

Qualifications
