Role overview

The hotel is looking for a careful and dependable Laundry Attendant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position is important for keeping hotel linens clean, well-maintained, and ready for use, which directly supports guest comfort and service quality.

Key duties

• Separate, launder, dry, and neatly fold items such as bedding, towels, and staff uniforms.
• Run commercial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment.
• Check textiles for marks, damage, or wear and treat them appropriately.
• Select cleaning methods that match the fabric type and care requirements.
• Keep the laundry area tidy, safe, and well arranged.
• Track linen stock levels and inform the supervisor about any missing items or concerns.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and facility procedures at all times.
• Work with housekeeping colleagues to ensure clean linen is delivered on schedule.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to guest laundry requests.
• Keep accurate logs of processed laundry and chemical consumption.

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or a similar position in hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long durations and handle heavy loads.
• Practical understanding of textile care, stain treatment, and handling different fabrics.
• Comfort using industrial laundry machines and following safety practices.
• Strong focus on detail and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good organization and the ability to handle several tasks efficiently.
• Basic spoken and written English communication skills.
• Comfort working in a busy environment and adjusting to shifting priorities.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• High school education or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
