Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha for a light vehicle driver. The role centers on the safe operation of assigned vehicles for moving employees, documents, or materials when needed. You will be expected to plan practical routes, obey traffic laws, complete basic checks on the vehicle, and keep it clean and properly maintained.

In addition, the driver will work with supervisors on trip timing and schedules, maintain simple records for journeys, and promptly communicate any delays, incidents, or maintenance concerns. Professional, courteous interaction with passengers and coworkers is essential to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles safely to transport staff, materials, or documents as required.
• Choose suitable routes and follow traffic rules and road safety standards at all times.
• Carry out basic pre-trip and routine vehicle checks.
• Keep the assigned vehicle tidy, clean, and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding schedules and trip requirements.
• Record trip details and complete basic logs as needed.
• Report accidents, delays, and any maintenance or repair issues without delay.
• Provide polite, dependable, and efficient service to passengers and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on experience driving light vehicles, supported by a valid local driving license.
• Solid understanding of traffic laws, defensive driving, and road safety practices.
• Familiarity with Doha roads, routes, and traffic flow, along with the ability to use navigation tools or maps.
• Good communication skills for following instructions and giving clear updates.
• Customer-focused manner with the ability to deal respectfully with passengers and internal teams.
• Responsible, punctual, and dependable work style.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and highlight maintenance needs quickly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when operational needs require it.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar driving position is an added advantage.
• Experience with larger vehicles and truck operations, including CDL Class A exposure, is beneficial but not essential for this role.

The position is based fully on-site in Doha, Qatar.
