Role Overview

This remote position is for an experienced Link Acquisition Specialist who will help design and run backlink acquisition plans for clients across different sectors. The focus is on finding valuable link prospects, checking publisher quality, tracking campaign results, and making sure the links secured deliver real SEO value.

The right person will understand that effective link acquisition is not just about getting more links. It requires judging relevance, authority, risk, and long-term search impact, while using data to guide decisions instead of guesswork.

You will work with internal teams to connect link acquisition activity with wider SEO and marketing goals, while also looking for ways to improve performance and return on investment over time.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and secure high-quality backlink opportunities.
• Review domain strength, topical fit, authority indicators, and traffic potential.
• Study competitors and market activity to uncover new acquisition angles.
• Shape and improve link acquisition plans according to client goals.
• Track backlink outcomes and suggest changes to improve results.
• Oversee timely link activation, indexation, and quality checks.
• Keep campaign records accurate and up to date.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure link-building supports the broader SEO strategy.
• Develop and preserve relationships with publishers and outside partners when needed.
• Keep current with SEO developments, search engine updates, and industry best practices.
• Report directly and collaborate with the CEO.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience in link building or link acquisition is essential.
• Good knowledge of backlink quality indicators and SEO performance measurements.
• Experience with SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Majestic, or similar tools.
• Ability to judge domains using metrics such as DR, DA, traffic, relevance, and link profile quality.
• Strong outreach capability, especially through email and text-based channels.
• Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to juggle several projects at once.
• Clear professional communication skills in both written and spoken form.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote setting.
• Experience in an SEO agency, affiliate marketing, iGaming, SaaS, or digital marketing setting is highly beneficial, and business negotiation experience is also an advantage.
