Job description
Position Overview
This role is for a Logistics Management Specialist within the FMS Sustainment Department at NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF, supporting logistics and maintenance activities in a government defense environment.
Key Duties
- Prepare and authorize analyses that define logistics and maintenance support needs.
- Examine and defend requests for new support facilities, and coordinate the launch of system support locations.
- Organize and oversee the steps needed to obtain resources required for overall system logistics support.
- Perform on-site inspections of contractor logistics and maintenance testing, including mock-up reviews.
- Assess and sign off on program cost estimates and budget submissions provided by logistics element managers across all phases of the lifecycle.
Compensation
Minimum salary: 102415. Maximum salary: 158322.
