Position Overview
This role sits at the heart of a busy logistics operation, where you will guide the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of end-to-end fulfilment processes. The position covers warehousing, transport, third-party logistics relationships, returns handling and final-mile delivery, with a strong focus on efficient, customer-first service delivery. It is designed to support growth at scale within a direct-to-consumer setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day logistics activity, including inbound receiving, order processing, outbound dispatch and reverse logistics.
- Deliver fast, accurate and cost-conscious shipment solutions across direct-to-consumer channels.
- Set up, monitor and improve logistics performance measures such as order accuracy, delivery lead times and return percentages.
- Manage partnerships with third-party logistics providers and transport carriers to maintain strong service levels and scalability.
- Review and negotiate contracts and carrier pricing to improve both cost efficiency and delivery speed.
- Work closely with in-house warehouse teams or external fulfilment partners to keep orders moving on time and correctly.
- Use warehouse management systems, transport management systems and online retail tools to make operations more efficient.
- Prepare logistics reports and KPI updates to help inform commercial and operational decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience in logistics, ideally with exposure to e-commerce operations.
- Demonstrated success managing 3PL partners and shipping carriers.
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and transport management systems.
- Familiarity with digital retail platforms and warehouse automation solutions.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.
- Well-developed organisational and leadership abilities.
- Analytical approach with solid troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is €60,000 to €70,000, plus bonus and benefits.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Greater Dublin.
