Overview

Graceland Management Services, LLC is hiring a highly organized, proactive Corporate Dispatch Planner to handle planning assignments and coordinate day-to-day scheduling. The position focuses on end-to-end dispatch planning for company drivers, helping ensure movements are efficient, compliant, and well coordinated. This role acts as an important connection point between drivers, dealers, and customers, so strong communication, speed of response, and problem-solving ability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Own planning assignments and build, update, and maintain full work schedules for a dedicated driver group.
• Coordinate logistics and dispatch so deliveries go out on time and in an accurate manner.
• Assign routes, job tasks, and transportation work according to availability, location, and load needs.
• Arrange required transportation permits and help ensure all activities stay aligned with applicable regulations.
• Serve as the main contact for dealers, drivers, and customers, handling schedule changes, delivery updates, and relationship management.
• Use dispatch, logistics, email, and phone tools to manage daily planning and communication tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma is required; some college education is preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with computer systems at a strong proficiency level.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and switch tasks effectively in a busy setting.
• Strong attention to detail and sound troubleshooting ability.
• Good customer service orientation.
• Capable of staying effective under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Prior experience coordinating with independent contractors is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with transportation permits and regulatory requirements is preferred; training can be provided.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is helpful; training is available.
