Where you'll work

Job description

Role overview

In this role, you will take operational ownership of logistics service providers to help ensure uninterrupted, timely availability of Red Bull products in Germany. The position is fixed-term through 31.12.2027 and is centered on improving logistics processes through close cooperation with external partners, Customer Service, and the Demand & Supply Planning team.

Core responsibilities

You will manage day-to-day logistics operations, maintain accuracy of inventory and all stock movements, and act as the key contact for external service providers. The role also includes reviewing and approving supplier invoices, ensuring smooth pallet flow, coordinating stock counts, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and aligning inbound volumes with 3PL capacity. In addition, you will contribute to business reviews, investigate delivery delays in customer communications, and actively support customer administration, complaint handling, and returns management while keeping a close eye on logistics KPIs.

You will also monitor demand and market changes through forecast analysis to secure sufficient warehouse and throughput capacity with service providers. A key part of the job is to review the logistics setup, assess the distribution of warehouse locations, and work toward the best possible balance of efficiency, cost, and sustainability.

Another responsibility is carrying out monthly and ad-hoc cost analyses, with a particular focus on distribution, warehousing, and general operating expenses, so that the financial performance of the logistics chain can be clearly assessed and used for decision-making.

Project work will involve evaluating given constraints, identifying improvement opportunities across the supply chain, and supporting both cross-functional initiatives and collaboration with external partners to make processes more innovative and future-ready.

The role calls for a proactive, hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, reliable execution, and professional cooperation with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a completed vocational qualification in freight forwarding and logistics.
  • Strong spoken and written German and English skills.
  • Initial professional experience or internships in logistics, logistics management, or supply chain management.
  • Preferably, some exposure to FMCG retail structures.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally experience with SAP R/3 (ERP) or S/4HANA.
  • An ambitious, communicative, and friendly personality with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Analytical ability and experience using data analysis to support sound decision-making.
  • The capacity to identify problems, assess them, and proactively find solutions to reduce bottlenecks and risks.
  • A strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, along with a high level of service orientation.
  • Enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams with diverse goals and personalities.
  • Confidence in professional communication in both German and English.
  • A healthy sense of humor and the ability not to take yourself too seriously.
