Role overview
Hyundai Motor Europe is seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee and assess day-to-day supply chain activities across the region. The role focuses on improving coordination, performance, and execution within the European logistics network.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Hyundai Motor Group teams throughout the region to maintain reliable supply chain capacity and consistent execution.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites and country markets to improve efficiency, support vehicle distribution, and maintain healthy stock levels across Europe.
- Review logistics performance across affiliates, turn findings into strategic recommendations, and support markets in improving their processes.
- Help roll out Hyundai Motor Europe’s logistics strategy consistently across European markets while aligning closely with external partners and stakeholders.
- Track operational challenges, prepare reports, and build corrective action plans to reduce business risk.
- Contribute to the Business Planning framework by supporting the region’s overall logistics and operations strategy.
- Oversee logistics agreements and define better practices that increase efficiency across the region.
Profile and qualifications
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field is required.
- The role calls for more than 5 years of professional experience after graduation, including at least 3 years in logistics.
- Applicants should understand automotive supply chain structures and the full vehicle distribution process.
- Experience managing pan-European projects is important.
- Prior exposure to contract negotiation in a logistics setting is expected.
- Advanced ability in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visual reporting is needed.
