Opportunity Overview
Queensland Alumina Limited is looking for a Maintenance Planner - Shared Services to join its Maintenance Department in Gladstone, Queensland. About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor Planning and Governance, the position contributes to the organisation’s Safe, Stable and Sustainable focus by coordinating planning and scheduling activities for maintenance across equipment and systems within a plant operating area.
- Work in line with site health, environmental, and community policies, procedures, and systems.
- Build and manage maintenance schedules for plant equipment and systems.
- Partner with stakeholders to support asset performance through condition monitoring, maintenance plan creation, work scoping, and both near-term and longer-range scheduling.
- Organise the resources needed to carry out maintenance plans effectively.
- Use technical knowledge to help meet production and cost objectives while protecting asset integrity.
- Prepare budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned assets.
- Keep maintenance master data accurate and up to date in SAP.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will show a strong safety focus, solid communication skills, and the ability to coordinate planning activities across different levels of the business. A proactive continuous-improvement mindset, strong organisation skills, and the ability to develop productive working relationships are also important. Experience with Microsoft Office is expected, and SAP knowledge is an advantage. Prior exposure to budgeting and forecasting will be valuable.
