Job description
Role Overview
PSA Singapore is seeking a Compensation Manager to join the Total Rewards function. In this position, you will help shape, run, and continuously improve compensation policies, programs, procedures, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and interpret compensation-related data, take part in salary surveys, study market movements, and use market intelligence to keep pay structures competitive.
- Assess current salary bands and compensation frameworks, then propose updates where adjustments are needed.
- Support the yearly performance management and compensation review cycles from planning through execution.
- Carry out job evaluations to assess role size and make sure pay and job design align with business requirements; experience with Hay and Mercer job evaluation approaches will be an added advantage.
- Advise internal stakeholders on compensation rules, practices, and related processes.
- Oversee other rewards initiatives and payment-related matters as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant compensation experience.
- Strong understanding of compensation practices and applicable labour legislation.
- Practical experience in market surveys, salary benchmarking, and data analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced capability in MS Excel.
- Strong numerical ability and close attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across all levels.
- Comfortable working on your own and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
