Job description

About Jumeirah

Jumeirah is an international luxury hospitality brand and part of Dubai Holding, with 29 properties spread across 11 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Since the launch of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab in 1999, the brand has been known for redefining luxury stays through beachfront resorts, city hotels, and exclusive residences. Its portfolio includes destinations such as Jumeirah Olhahali Island in the Maldives, Jumeirah Capri Palace in Italy, and Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, all recognized for generous service and memorable guest experiences.

About Madinat Jumeirah

Madinat Jumeirah is a beachfront resort located along a two-kilometre private coastline. It brings together four distinct hotels with views of the Arabian Gulf and Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The collection includes Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, and Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. The destination also offers more than 20 restaurants and lounges, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, children’s clubs, and a wide range of event and conference venues.

Role Overview

This opening is for a Manager, PR to support Jumeirah’s restaurant communications. The position focuses on presenting dining concepts clearly and consistently, creating strong stories for media and partners, and ensuring all messaging reflects the brand’s refined tone. The role is based in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct public relations and communication efforts for the property’s restaurants, making sure each dining experience is positioned clearly and in line with Jumeirah’s premium voice.
  • Develop engaging stories around culinary launches, activations, and concepts for media, partners, and internal audiences, while keeping the messaging credible and appealing.
  • Handle daily internal and external communication tasks so that all content remains accurate, polished, and consistent with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Organize media outreach, press opportunities, PR materials, and partner communications that improve visibility in the luxury dining and lifestyle space.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Social, F&B, and Operations teams so PR efforts support restaurant awareness without overlapping with campaign or social media responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with agencies, media contacts, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, brand consistency, and support for guest perception and F&B performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal professional will bring 6–8 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing communications, or media relations, preferably within luxury hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands. Prior exposure to communications work for restaurants, hotels, lifestyle venues, or other guest-facing settings is important. Strong writing and editing ability is essential, along with the skill to turn operational moments and restaurant stories into polished communications. The candidate should also have experience partnering with media, PR agencies, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in a busy hospitality environment. A commercial mindset and guest-first approach are needed, along with an understanding of how PR contributes to reputation, awareness, and business results.

Benefits

  • A supportive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Access to learning and development programmes, plus clear progression paths
  • Opportunities to move internally across the global network
  • Discounts on food, beverages, and hotel stays worldwide for colleagues
  • Comprehensive medical and life insurance coverage
  • Paid annual leave
  • Incentive schemes linked to leadership performance
  • Competitive tax-free pay in UAE Dirhams (AED)
