Job description
About the Role
Golden Chick, founded in San Marcos, Texas in 1967, has grown from a single restaurant into a brand with nearly 60 years of history and 250 restaurants. After opening 23 new restaurants in 2025, the company is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help maintain the same standards of quality, care, and partner-first service that have guided the business since the beginning.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at the Richardson, Texas headquarters in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The role supports the Director of Marketing and works closely with the marketing and creative teams to keep new store launches, franchise communications, vendor coordination, and branded merchandise organized and on track.
What You Will Do
- Support around 25 restaurant openings each year by coordinating signage, décor, uniforms, menu boards, POP kits, and required local store marketing materials for new openings, transfers, and remodels.
- Take ownership of the marketing inbox and incoming LSM requests, ensuring the right people are informed and aligned on upcoming needs.
- Run the marketing ordering portal, handling on-demand print items, campaign and promotional materials, and new restaurant opening supplies while coordinating with print vendors and other suppliers on selection and pricing.
- Track and maintain swag, apparel, and promotional stock, including ordering, fulfillment, and inventory levels.
- Work with the creative team on print, swag, and apparel production, managing schedules, proofs, and vendor communication from beginning to end.
- Handle marketing accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoices, supporting documentation, spreadsheets, confirmations, and budget monitoring.
- Attend the annual company conference and provide occasional in-person support for corporate restaurant openings, about one to two times per year.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in coordination, franchise marketing, LSM, or related marketing support work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a dependable approach to follow-through.
- Comfort with basic accounting-related work such as AP/AR, invoice matching, and budget tracking.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, along with Teams, Slack, and Monday.com.
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
