About Plotsy

Plotsy is building the Plotsy vBook™, a new book format that sits alongside print books, eBooks, and audiobooks. The company turns written titles into cinematic, episodic video experiences designed for modern content consumption.

Role Overview

The team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can take ownership of paid media execution, social media activity, and launch campaign coordination. This position is very hands-on and focuses on working directly inside the ad and social platforms, while following strategy and briefs provided by leadership. The role reports to the Founder & Chief Publishing Officer.

Key Responsibilities

You will help deliver campaigns across multiple channels, support social publishing, create copy assets, and keep tracking systems organized. You’ll also work closely with leadership, production, and an Amazon DSP agency to keep launches moving smoothly and to monitor performance.

  • Set up, run, and improve advertising campaigns on Google, YouTube, and Meta
  • Act as the main daily contact for the Amazon DSP agency, sharing briefs and collecting reports
  • Handle social scheduling, posting, and audience engagement across the company’s channels
  • Draft social media captions, ad copy options, and basic email copy
  • Complete simple design tasks using graphics supplied by the production team
  • Keep the content calendar and campaign tracker updated
  • Carry out templated launch plans in coordination with leadership and production
  • Review campaign results each week and highlight what is performing well and what needs adjustment
  • Read the books currently being promoted so campaigns and content reflect the titles accurately

Required Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate should already be comfortable running paid media and managing brand social accounts independently. Strong writing ability and the ability to stay aligned with the brand voice are also essential.

  • Practical experience purchasing and managing ads on Google and YouTube
  • Practical experience purchasing and managing ads on Meta
  • Experience handling day-to-day brand social media management
  • Clear, strong written communication skills

Preferred Background

  • Experience in entertainment, streaming, or subscription-based media
  • Exposure to campaign reporting and UTM tracking
  • Familiarity with Canva

Work Arrangement and Fit

This is a remote role for a U.S.-based professional. The company is a small, fast-moving team, so the person in this role should be comfortable working with limited oversight and should be able to overlap with Central Time hours for coordination with leadership.

Additional Information

This position starts as an independent contractor role with the possibility of becoming full-time later, depending on performance and business requirements. The company is especially interested in someone who genuinely enjoys books and storytelling across different genres.
