Job description

About the role

Ausfeng Events is a Sydney-based company focused on performing arts and cultural events, including concerts, theatre productions, festivals, and cross-border cultural exchange initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. The team is seeking a motivated, highly organised, and adaptable full-time coordinator who can balance creative promotion with hands-on event support in a dynamic environment.

This position brings together digital marketing, social media management, event operations, and travel and artist coordination. It is well suited to someone who enjoys working in live events and the performing arts sector and can switch smoothly between creative and operational work.

What the role involves

  • Running and maintaining social channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat, and LinkedIn.
  • Producing marketing assets, including graphics, short-form reels, and promotional video content.
  • Helping deliver concerts, theatre shows, and cultural event operations.
  • Arranging artist travel, including flights and itinerary planning.
  • Working with venues, vendors, media contacts, and project collaborators.

Requirements

  • Prior exposure to digital marketing, social media management, or the events sector.
  • Confidence using design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or comparable software.
  • Familiarity with airline booking or ticketing platforms such as Amadeus will be viewed favourably.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
  • A genuine interest in, or background with, performing arts, concerts, or cultural programming is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate in both Mandarin and English is preferred.
  • Must be an Australian permanent resident, Australian citizen, or hold a valid work visa.

What’s on offer

  • Chance to contribute to international performing arts and cultural projects.
  • Supportive, creative, and friendly working atmosphere.
  • Potential for career progression within the live events industry.
