Job description

About the Role

This position leads marketing activity for Cinemark’s food and beverage business across national and regional initiatives, while also supporting theatre-level needs in local markets. The role acts as the main contact for marketing questions coming from theatres in the assigned region or ownership group, and coordinates with broader marketing teams such as digital, content, creative, analytics, media, and partnerships to find effective solutions. It also involves proactively preparing and sharing communications related to in-theatre marketing campaigns for field teams and company leadership.

Strategic Campaign Planning and Project Management

  • Own the planning and delivery of region-specific campaigns and activations in collaboration with internal teams and outside partners.
  • Prepare clear creative briefs and WorkFront requests that fully reflect brand and design expectations.
  • Work with web teams so promotions and campaigns are accurately presented online, including launch review and testing when needed.
  • Set up meeting agendas, coordinate cross-functional teams, and keep projects moving on schedule and within budget, while ensuring owners understand actions, timelines, and next steps.

Communication and Issue Resolution

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned partners, involving the right stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly.
  • Support or lead recurring stakeholder meetings by building agendas, presentations, talking points, recaps, and follow-up actions.
  • Develop polished presentations that explain launch plans, business direction, and category goals to senior leadership.
  • Share project updates with stakeholders and executives, including progress, deliverables, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Draft and edit campaign communication directives and route them to the Service Center and field teams according to the communication timeline.

Performance Analysis and Budget Management

  • Use historical performance, stakeholder input, and prior reporting to solve problems and recommend next steps.
  • Define campaign KPIs and measure results against ROI goals to improve future execution.
  • Monitor competitive activity in local markets and develop responses to address challenges.
  • Manage marketing budgets for merchandise, programs, agencies, vendors, co-op activity, and statements of work, including invoice submission.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in marketing or a closely related business function; retail background is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong organizational ability with the capacity to juggle several priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Clear communicator who can explain strategy, goals, and timelines while building alignment across teams.
  • Comfortable influencing senior leaders and delivering effective presentations with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with Marketing, Creative Services, Operations, and other key groups.
  • Skilled at researching, analyzing, and presenting recommendations through clear campaign summaries and reports.
  • Works well both independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly detail-oriented, adaptable in ambiguous situations, and able to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and influencing abilities, with a track record of performing under pressure.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and file management tools.
