Job description
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will oversee and improve Spice Hospitality Group’s paid-free media presence across its brands, including Boom’s Pizza, Spice Catering + Events, and Plated Landscapes. The role blends brand oversight, campaign coordination, and hands-on execution, with a strong need for organized project leadership, vendor coordination, and clear communication.
This person will handle recurring campaigns, seasonal marketing pushes, and launches for new concepts, while ensuring each brand keeps its own identity and priorities stay on track. Acting as the central marketing coordinator for the SHG portfolio, this role connects leadership, operations, agencies, freelancers, and vendors so that marketing work moves forward smoothly.
The position is well suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving, energetic environment with many simultaneous priorities. The company also notes significant growth potential, with future team expansion and advancement planned.
Key Responsibilities
Owned and earned media coordination, including weekly emails, organic social activity, and loyalty messaging in partnership with digital agency support.
Oversight of photo and video production for storytelling and brand content across channels.
Maintenance of brand websites, landing pages, and Google Business profiles.
Management of the shared content calendar across all SHG brands and concepts.
Day-to-day coordination with creative partners, digital vendors, marketing freelancers, and other outside collaborators.
Organization and upkeep of asset libraries for each brand.
Project management system administration in Airtable, including request intake, prioritization, and campaign tracking.
Support in building scalable marketing processes that work across multiple brands and locations.
Evaluation of sponsorships, donations, and community partnership opportunities with leadership.
Keeping marketing activity aligned with broader business priorities and goals.
Management of schedules and deliverables across multiple initiatives and agency partners.
Translating business needs into clear briefs and deliverables as an internal writer/editor.
Quality control to ensure outsourced work matches brand standards and messaging.
Serving as the main point of contact between leadership, operations, agencies, freelancers, and vendors.
Coordinating resources and requests so work remains organized and on schedule.
Planning and managing marketing for new store openings, limited-time offers, pop-ups, events, and seasonal promotions.
Supporting catering and retail events with signage, collateral, and promotional execution through internal and external resources.
Tracking and summarizing campaign performance across email, social media, and in-store channels.
What Success Looks Like
Defined marketing goals and metrics are consistently met.
Each brand maintains a clear, consistent, and differentiated voice.
Marketing projects are properly organized, prioritized, and delivered on time across the portfolio.
Campaigns and launches are planned strategically, supported well, and measured effectively.
Internal teams understand marketing timelines, responsibilities, and workflows.
Creative partners and vendors have clear direction, alignment, and accountability.
Marketing output contributes to sales, community impact, and overall brand growth.
Experience and Skill Requirements
Applicants should have 5 to 8+ years of experience in marketing management, account management, project management, or campaign management.
Strong capability is needed to manage multiple brands, priorities, and stakeholder groups at once.
Excellent project management, communication, organizational, and stakeholder coordination skills are essential.
Experience working with agencies, vendors, freelancers, or cross-functional teams is required.
Practical familiarity with email marketing, social media tools, and website platforms is important.
Comfort with Canva and creative production workflows is expected.
Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or multi-location retail is preferred.
Bonus Experience
