Job description
About the company
SatVu is a growing space technology business that provides highly accurate, frequent thermal data collected from orbit. With HotSat-1 already in space and HotSat-2 and HotSat-3 planned for later this year, the company is moving quickly into a commercial growth stage, converting opportunities into revenue and broadening its market presence. This is a small, ambitious team where people are expected to move quickly, take ownership, and make a tangible difference.
Role overview
SatVu is looking for a Marketing Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day office coordination and work closely with the VP Sales on events, campaigns, and sales enablement activity. This is a very practical role suited to someone at the beginning of a marketing career who wants to learn the fundamentals of brand building and storytelling, or to an experienced coordinator seeking broader exposure in a scaling business.
The role covers hands-on marketing support such as event planning, content calendar management, collateral handling, branded merchandise, PR coordination, and campaign logistics. It also offers direct exposure to go-to-market activity and work that helps generate pipeline and commercial growth.
You will act as a key connector across the organisation by spotting what is needed, simplifying workflows, and staying composed in a fast-moving environment. The company will support development through on-the-job guidance, cross-functional projects, and opportunities to lead measurable marketing work that can help build a long-term marketing career.
The position reports to the VP Sales.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate conference activity, including registrations, booth reservations, vendor liaison, and on-site support.
- Keep event and marketing schedules up to date and aligned across teams and with external PR support.
- Track and manage stock for swag, marketing materials, and business cards, including ordering and distribution.
- Work with the PR agency, handle press enquiries, and assist with press kits and event-related logistics.
- Support London-based events and gifting for investors, customers, and team members.
- Help keep the office tidy, secure, and professionally presented, including desk standards, display of marketing materials, and building access processes.
- Manage office consumables, equipment, furniture, refreshments, deliveries, and post collections.
- Administer access and invitations for company tools and facilities where relevant, such as bike cards, meeting invites, OfficeRnD, and KISI.
- Coordinate routine facilities support and maintain relationships with service providers.
- Keep the company contracts register current with all signed agreements.
- Prepare basic company update slides, including dates, recognition, and anniversaries, and coordinate senior management updates after meetings.
- Improve and maintain working processes for office administration and marketing procurement.
- Keep inventory and supplier lists accurate, and assist with invoice checks and light budget monitoring for events, swag, and office supplies when needed.
Interview process
- Introductory phone conversation with the People Director to discuss the role, as well as your goals and expectations, for around 30 minutes.
- First-round video interview with the VP Sales to go through the role and your experience, for around 30 minutes.
- Team assessment with the VP Sales and members of the Fin-Ops team, including a short scenario-based presentation and discussion, for around 60 minutes.
- Final interview with the co-founders, the CEO and CIO, for around 30 minutes. This stage may take place either in person or by video, depending on availability.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant is organised, action-focused, and comfortable working through ambiguity. You should be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing setting, work well both independently and with others, communicate clearly, and take pride in dependable operations and practical marketing support. A proactive, curious, and coachable approach is important, along with the willingness to get involved in hands-on tasks and suggest better ways of working.
SatVu welcomes candidates from a range of backgrounds and career stages, including people just starting out in marketing and experienced coordinators looking for variety in a scale-up setting.
