Role overview
Halfords is hiring a qualified MOT Tester for its Garage Services team in Milton Keynes. The role is based at one of the company’s new Fusion centres, designed with upgraded facilities to deliver a high-quality customer experience and a strong working environment.

Pay and working pattern
- Total on-target earnings can reach up to £42,300.
- The salary range is £33,000 to £37,000, with uncapped monthly bonus potential.
- Average extra earnings from the bonus scheme are around £5,300 per year.
- The working pattern is 5 days per week.
- There is also a refer-a-friend scheme that can increase earnings, subject to terms and conditions.
What you will do
You will carry out MOT testing and also support the workshop with light vehicle maintenance when you are not performing MOTs. The role calls for someone who can work well as part of a team and contribute to the day-to-day running of the workshop.
Requirements
- A valid MOT testing licence is required.
- Applicants must hold a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
- You should be comfortable working as part of a team and helping with light vehicle maintenance when needed.
