About the Role

A creative organization is looking for a Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join a fast-moving Marketing and Communications group. The position centers on producing eye-catching creative assets for both digital and print media, with a particular focus on visual storytelling through still graphics and motion content. The role works closely with multiple teams to help campaigns come together, strengthen audience engagement, and maintain a consistently high creative standard.

This is a hybrid position, with in-office attendance expected three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a broad mix of marketing collateral for print and digital use, such as campaign visuals, presentations, signage, and advertisements.
  • Build content for email, social channels, and paid media campaigns in line with brand direction and campaign goals.
  • Design visuals that simplify complex information, including infographics and presentation assets.
  • Cut and refine video for web, social, and marketing purposes, including short-form and promotional pieces.
  • Prepare design and video files for each platform by adjusting format, pacing, and layout as needed.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and outside partners to develop, produce, and deliver creative work within deadlines.
  • Contribute to the rollout of integrated marketing efforts across several channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to support a range of organizational initiatives.
  • Oversee production timelines and help ensure creative deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Assist with planning and coordination for photo and video shoots, including preparing assets in advance.
  • Make sure all creative output stays consistent with brand standards and meets quality expectations.
  • Keep design, video, and photography files well organized and easy to access.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in graphic design and video editing.
  • A strong portfolio is required to be considered.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
  • Proven ability to tell compelling stories through both static visuals and motion content.
  • Experience creating content for digital channels, including social media and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with best practices tailored to different digital platforms.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Comfort working independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong sense of timing, pacing, composition, and visual flow in both design and video work.
  • Experience working with a performing arts organization is an advantage.
