Role Overview

As an Office Services Assistant, you will support the business, guests, and colleagues by keeping rooms and shared spaces clean, well organized, and safe. The role also involves prompt support to requests, professional service, and maintaining an orderly environment for both visitors and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep guest rooms clean and maintained at all times.
  • Carry out cleaning tasks across assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, along with ceiling vent cleaning when required.
  • Look after the cleaning equipment in use and keep it in good condition.
  • Dispose of waste from trash bins regularly.
  • Follow the cleaning timetable and stay on top of scheduled tasks.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and materials safely, follow all safety procedures, and store supplies correctly to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Secure and record any lost-and-found items accurately.
  • Report any damage, shortages, or repair needs to management.

Requirements

  • Basic English communication skills are required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is expected.
  • Previous familiarity with weekly and monthly checklists is important.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies is needed.
  • Applicants should have basic communication ability and be organized with good time management.
  • The ideal candidate should be honest, helpful, focused, and flexible.
