We are seeking an Operations Manager to join a hospitality-led team in London. The role is centered on catering operations, with occasional regional site visits required. Location, Hours & Salary
Location: London, with occasional travel within the region.
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will oversee catering activity across a portfolio of sites and work closely with on-site leaders to maintain service quality and operational consistency.
- Direct day-to-day catering operations across multiple sites in the assigned region.
- Guide, coach, and develop on-site managers and their teams to consistently deliver strong service standards.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, health and safety rules, food hygiene requirements, and brand expectations.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, labour spend, and other cost controls to support financial performance.
- Maintain productive client partnerships and keep customer satisfaction at a high level.
- Support new site launches and help drive ongoing improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring proven operational background in catering management, preferably from a contract catering environment, along with a strong commercial mindset and confidence leading dispersed teams.
- Hands-on experience in catering operations management, ideally within contract catering.
- Good understanding of profit and loss management, labour control, and compliance requirements.
- Confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and manage remote teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Commercially aware, with a genuine commitment to excellent food and service delivery.
