Role Overview
Arc Health is hiring a highly organized Operations Specialist to help coordinate provider onboarding, scheduling, travel arrangements, compliance tracking, and day-to-day operational support. Core Duties
You will assist with onboarding and offboarding healthcare providers, maintain accurate records, support scheduling workflows, and help keep compliance and documentation organized. The role also includes travel and lodging coordination, reporting support, and general administrative assistance for leadership and team initiatives.
Provider Onboarding and Support
- Help organize onboarding for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Monitor onboarding requirements and paperwork so provider start dates stay on track.
- Update and preserve accurate provider information in internal systems and databases.
- Support offboarding steps and maintain personnel files.
Scheduling and Workforce Coordination
- Assist with provider scheduling and shift management.
- Keep schedules accurate across scheduling tools and platforms.
- Watch for open shift needs and help manage schedule changes.
- Support schedule checks, audits, and reconciliation tasks.
Documentation and Compliance
- Draft and send communications for providers and clients.
- Maintain contracts, onboarding files, compliance records, and operational paperwork.
- Keep documentation complete, orderly, and ready for review or audit.
- Help with reporting and data collection activities.
Travel and Housing Coordination
- Arrange travel and lodging for providers.
- Track travel requests and related records.
- Act as a point of contact between providers, vendors, and internal teams.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Support company leaders with reports, special projects, and operational initiatives.
- Help prepare job descriptions, practice profiles, and staffing documentation.
- Take part in process improvements aimed at increasing operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications

- Experience supporting remote teams or operations across multiple sites.
- Familiarity with locum tenens, nursing staffing, or other healthcare workforce settings.
