Role overview

This opportunity sits within a retail business that is going through a major period of growth after joining the global Dollarama group. With the store network expanding and customer experience evolving, the operations function plays a key role in helping the business move toward a target of 700 stores. As an Operations Specialist, you will support the everyday execution that keeps stores operating effectively.

The role is practical and collaborative. You will work across stores, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate tasks, maintain procedures, and help deliver consistent operations across the network. It is well suited to someone who enjoys retail, works well in a busy environment, and likes finding better ways to solve problems.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with weekly reporting, including review of sales results and store incentive performance
  • Handle store enquiries and resolve routine operational issues as they arise
  • Use WorkJam to coordinate tasks, including weekly “get ready for the weekend” activities
  • Enter, monitor, and follow up on operational actions through internal systems
  • Keep documentation, process manuals, and operational standards accurate and up to date
  • Support process and system updates, making sure reference guides reflect current practices
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen safety culture and assist with store and regional changes
  • Manage supplier relationships and day-to-day communication where needed
  • Oversee store consumables and supplies such as ticketing, devices, and tools
  • Support ServiceNow requests and help improve workflow efficiency within systems
  • Work closely with Store Operations, Technology, and other support functions to deliver workable solutions
