Job Overview

As an Overnight Cleaner, you will be instrumental in ensuring that assigned buildings remain consistently clean, presentable, and welcoming. Your responsibilities will include the upkeep of common areas and washrooms, performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and detailed cleaning of designated areas, encompassing floors, fixtures, furniture, walls, glass, and high-touch surfaces.
• Execute floor cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.
• Manage the collection and proper disposal of all waste materials.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained in a safe and hygienic condition.
• Identify and report any necessary repairs or replacements needed within the facility.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methodologies.
• WHMIS Certification is considered an advantage.
• Possess the physical stamina and mobility required for tasks such as reaching, kneeling, and bending.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling loads up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass a Canadian Background Check.
