About The Role

The Painter will be instrumental in preserving the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior surfaces through expert painting and finishing. This position is crucial for ensuring the property remains well-maintained, visually attractive, and consistent with the company's high standards.

What You Will Do

• Execute painting, finishing, and repair tasks across guest rooms, residences, public areas, back-of-house sections, and staff accommodations to uphold the property's appearance and standards.
• Address guest, resident, and departmental maintenance requests promptly, ensuring swift resolution of painting and cosmetic repair issues.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs and conduct inspections to identify, rectify, and prevent the degradation of painted surfaces and finishes.
• Assess needs, order, and manage inventory of painting materials, tools, and equipment necessary for efficient project completion.
• Maintain precise records of completed work, utilized materials, and maintenance activities, adhering to Engineering department protocols.
• Comply with all safety, fire, health, hygiene, and environmental regulations, while ensuring a clean, organized, and professional workspace.

What You Bring

• Prior experience as a Painter, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, residential, or commercial setting.
• Proficiency in surface preparation, various painting techniques, finishing methods, and general maintenance practices.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple work orders effectively, and adapt to operational demands.
• A keen eye for detail, dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship and presentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on guest and resident satisfaction.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, while upholding safety and compliance standards.
