Role Summary

As a Curator, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers entering the store, responsible for generating enthusiasm for Fluent products. Your role involves providing knowledgeable solutions and guidance to patients on the safe and effective use of our products. You will contribute to a unique customer experience within the Fluent dispensary by assessing patient needs based on doctor's recommendations and, with team support, matching them with appropriate products. Your effectiveness in sales will be key to converting visitors into loyal Fluent customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Drive increases in dispensary, team, and personal sales over time.
  • Provide outstanding customer experiences in diverse settings and thrive on continuous personal interaction.
  • Utilize available resources to effectively assess customer health conditions and requirements.
  • Escalate any unresolved customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution.
  • Support delivery operations as a Health Educator when needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and generate sales reports.
  • Meticulously document details of each customer interaction and any subsequent actions taken.
  • Follow up diligently on all customer issues that require further investigation.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product guide and the benefits of medical cannabis.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Retail Operations, General Manager, and/or Customer Service Manager regarding the status of customer issues.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous customer service experience is desired.
  • Proven sales experience is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to perform essential job functions successfully. This includes regularly speaking and hearing, frequently standing for extended periods, walking, using hands for fine motor tasks, reaching, and operating computers (iPad, laptop, desktop) for extended periods to review information and provide patient recommendations. Effective verbal and written communication is necessary. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. Regular and predictable attendance is mandatory.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This role involves extended hours and frequent weekend work.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age, as per state law.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
