About the Role

As a Partner Success Manager, you will help drive growth among accounting and bookkeeping partners across New Zealand. In this position, you will serve as a reliable advisor to firms, guiding them on how to get the most value from the Xero ecosystem through strategic support and education that helps them grow revenue and better serve their small business customers.

You will work to reduce partner churn and uncover opportunities for plan upgrades, ensuring partners and their clients have access to the right technology to support their business operations.

Team Environment

You will be part of a strong team of eight and report to the Manager of Partner Success. Collaboration is central to the way the team works, and you will partner closely with the Partner Consulting teams to provide a smooth experience and share feedback and insights so partner needs are represented effectively.

Primary Focus Areas

  • Create and carry out territory plans aimed at growing adoption of Business Edition plans and connected payment services.
  • Organize and deliver events that help partners understand how the Xero Partner programme works and what value it offers.
  • Strengthen digital engagement within accounting practices to lift active usage and encourage uptake of related products.
  • Use Salesforce to track relationship health and spot risk areas early so action can be taken quickly.

Work Location and Setup

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Auckland, New Zealand. The role follows a hybrid work model, combining remote flexibility with planned in-office boost days for team connection and collaboration.

What We Are Looking For

  • A strong history of sales success, ideally within financial technology or accounting software.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence in public speaking and the ability to present clearly at partner events and webinars.
  • Self-driven working style with the initiative to operate independently and consistently meet or exceed goals.
  • Real enthusiasm for making an impact, along with curiosity about the growing online accounting market.
