Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Patrol Officer position in Singapore. The role is focused on keeping assigned premises safe by carrying out routine patrols, monitoring entrances and other access points, spotting potential security issues, and making sure site rules are followed.
Key Duties
- Conduct scheduled patrols across the assigned location to maintain a secure environment.
- Watch access points and verify that entry procedures are followed correctly.
- Identify, report, and respond to possible security breaches or unusual activity.
- Handle alarm activations and support incident response as needed.
- Assist during emergencies and coordinate with police or emergency services when required.
- Greet and guide visitors, tenants, and clients in a professional and helpful manner.
- Prepare incident reports and record events accurately in line with company standards.
- Use communication equipment properly and follow all security protocols.
- Work alongside other security staff to help maintain a safe site.
Skills and Requirements
- Practical security knowledge, including patrolling, access control, and noticing incidents.
- Understanding of law enforcement coordination and emergency response practices.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to stay composed under pressure and make sensible decisions.
- Good report-writing skills with clear and accurate documentation.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Relevant security certification or licensing, where required by Singapore regulations.
- Prior exposure to security, military, or similar environments is an added advantage.
- Own transportation is required.
