Job description

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Officer to support payroll operations and related finance activities. This position focuses on accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with Saudi labor regulations, and handling billing, invoicing, collections, and financial record maintenance.

Payroll Administration

  • Handle monthly payroll runs, including overtime, reimbursements/expenses, and other earnings and deductions.
  • Verify that payroll records in the ERP system align with employee contract terms.
  • Calculate and process full and final settlements in line with Saudi Labor Law.
  • Generate and share employee payslips.
  • Keep payroll documentation up to date and address employee queries related to payroll.
  • Work with the billing team to monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and alert Account Managers when POs are nearing expiry or have expired.

Billing and Collections

  • Create and send accurate invoices to clients.
  • Track invoice progress and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Maintain clear records of billing and collection actions.
  • Prepare weekly collection summaries and update information in the ERP platform.
  • Match accounts receivable balances and help resolve payment variances.
  • Assist in applying collection policies and related procedures.

General Duties

  • Support year-end payroll activities and financial audits.
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee and company financial data.
  • Keep current with Saudi payroll rules and tax-related requirements.
  • Carry out other payroll and finance tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Labor Law and payroll procedures.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics (eBECS) or a comparable ERP system.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning, and problem-solving ability.
  • High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
