Role overview
This position is for a trusted Personal Assistant supporting the Head of Own Label Buying. The role is focused on keeping a busy business area running smoothly and efficiently through dependable, high-quality administrative support.
What the role involves
You will work closely with a Head of Department or Business Unit Director, providing organised and forward-looking support tailored to their priorities, working style and wider business requirements. The role requires you to coordinate schedules, communications and daily activities while consistently demonstrating discretion, professionalism and strong attention to detail.
Core duties
- Coordinate demanding diaries, meetings and travel plans so deadlines and priorities are met.
- Serve as the first contact point for internal and external communication, managing requests promptly and professionally.
- Draft, organise and prepare documents, reports, presentations and meeting packs.
- Help maintain effective office operations through day-to-day administration and coordination.
- Develop productive relationships across the business while protecting sensitive information and handling it confidentially.
Working pattern
This role may be fully based on-site or may follow a hybrid arrangement, combining office and home working. Where hybrid working applies, colleagues are expected to spend at least three days per week on-site, subject to business needs. About you
The ideal candidate is an experienced, highly organised Personal Assistant who performs well in a fast-moving professional setting and enjoys supporting senior leaders. You should be comfortable balancing several priorities at once, able to spot needs ahead of time, and confident working independently to solve problems. Clear and polished communication, calm judgement, discretion and a strong service mindset are essential.
You should also bring advanced capability with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with excellent time management, strong organisation and sharp attention to detail. Prior experience delivering administrative or PA support in a busy environment is required.
