About the Role

Join the Zion Aged Care team in Nundah as a Personal Carer and help create positive moments for residents each day. This role is based in a friendly, close community setting where both residents and staff are supported and valued.

The position is offered in multiple casual capacities and requires flexibility to work across different days and shift patterns.

Pay is $40.81 to $45.26 per hour, which includes 25% casual loading, plus superannuation, salary packaging, and access to staff discounts and benefits.

Key Duties

• Help residents with everyday living tasks while protecting their dignity and respect.
• Encourage independence and support residents to maintain their wellbeing and quality of life.
• Work closely with nurses, allied health staff, lifestyle teams, and hospitality support staff to deliver the best possible care experience.
• Assist residents with mobility and the safe use of equipment.
• Offer emotional reassurance and contribute to a caring, supportive environment.
• Record care activities accurately in iCare and follow established best-practice procedures.
• Partner with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to support holistic care.

What You Need

• Certificate III in Individual Support with aged care or disability focus.
• Either an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or a Police Check, or a willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience in a similar aged care position.
