About the Role

Tallangatta Health Service is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to become part of its multidisciplinary care team. In this position, you will coordinate, deliver, and review physiotherapy services across community, acute, and residential aged care settings.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out client-centred assessments, treatments, interventions, and consultations.
  • Set out, record, and review clear goals and care plans tailored to each person’s needs, taking into account the diversity of the community.
  • Deliver treatment and intervention plans in discussion with the consumer.
  • Balance multiple priorities while ensuring care remains clinically appropriate and duties are completed effectively.
  • Support seamless movement of consumers through the health system so care continues without interruption.

Team and Workplace

You will be part of an experienced allied health group that includes physiotherapists, a podiatrist, occupational therapists, a dietitian, a social worker, and allied health assistants. The service values a supportive, flexible, and development-focused workplace culture.

Role Details

  • This is a permanent part-time position.
  • Work is available across 3 to 4 days each week.
  • Days of work can be arranged, with availability across Monday to Saturday.
  • Pay is aligned to the Allied Health Professional (Victorian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026, with an estimated hourly rate of $45 to $52 depending on experience.

About You

  • You are committed to helping consumers reach their full potential.
  • You hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification and have current AHPRA registration.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and speaking.
  • You can prepare written and verbal reports and are committed to ongoing quality improvement and professional growth.
  • Experience in allied health, ideally in aged care, is preferred but not essential.
