Job Summary
This remote contract role is for a policy consultant who will contribute expert input that supports the development and improvement of AI systems. The work focuses on producing high-quality, real-world guidance and analysis that helps models learn, reason, and perform more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, create, and refine policy materials, legal agreements, proposals, and research documents with strong command over Word and PDF tools.
- Offer practical consultation and clear recommendations on matters related to regulation, law, healthcare, academia, or finance.
- Review documents carefully to confirm accuracy, compliance, readability, and alignment with accepted industry standards.
- Assist with precise formatting, tracked edits, form completion, and data extraction from client documents.
- Work with cross-functional teams to turn complex information into concise policies and operational procedures.
- Keep current with changing rules, regulations, and guidance relevant to the subject area.
- Present conclusions and suggestions clearly in both written and spoken communication.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in government policy operations.
- Strong expertise in Word and PDF workflows, including tracked changes, formatting, document review, and data extraction.
- Excellent communication ability with a focus on polished professional writing and speaking.
- Proven capability in drafting, assessing, and reviewing detailed policy or regulatory documents.
