Role Overview

The Pool Attendant helps keep the pool area organized, welcoming, and safe for guests. This role combines guest service with routine pool upkeep, including cleaning, chemical checks, and basic maintenance documentation.

Key Duties

• Guide guests to lounge areas and provide towels and seating support.
• Move lounge chairs, towels, tools, debris, and other poolside supplies as needed.
• Keep the pool deck and nearby spaces clean and presentable.
• Carry out pool care tasks such as testing water, maintaining chemical balance, vacuuming, using a skimming net, cleaning filters and strainers, scrubbing tile, and recording service activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain standing and walking for most of the shift.
• Strong customer service approach and guest interaction skills.
• Capability to lift and handle up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfort using pool service equipment, including chemical testers, pool chemicals, vacuum equipment, skimming nets, filters, and related tools.
• Willingness to obtain and keep any required licenses or certifications.
• Work may involve hot conditions and direct sun exposure.
