Role overview
We are hiring a committed Porter to support day-to-day operations at Lodestone House on a full-time basis. The position is contracted for 40 hours per week, with variable shift patterns. Please note that the contract runs for 45.6 weeks each year.
In this role, you will help uphold excellent standards of cleanliness and customer care across the site. You will also have the opportunity to develop your career with an organisation that values people, embraces individuality, and recognises those who make a strong contribution.
Key duties
- Keep the lobby and other shared areas clean, neat, and well presented.
- Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams with room preparation and furniture movement.
- Carry out selected front-of-house tasks, including arranging theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations.
- Respond to customer needs and requests when needed.
- Complete errands as assigned.
- Help protect customers by placing and removing safety notices, such as warnings for wet floors or freshly painted areas.
