Role Overview

This opening is for a motivated Pre-Sales Engineer to join the sales and technical team in Frankfurt, Germany. The role is suited to candidates interested in servers, data centers, cloud, HPC, AI, and related technologies. No prior full-time experience is needed, and fresh graduates with a technical or engineering background are encouraged to apply.

In this position, you will support the sales function by bringing in technical knowledge, creating solution proposals, engaging with customers, and assisting with product demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and technical assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-sales technical support for the company’s products and solutions.
  • Join customer meetings, technical conversations, product briefings, and solution pitches alongside the sales team.
  • Help create technical proposals, solution architectures, and documents related to bids.
  • Gather customer needs and convert them into practical technical solutions.
  • Assist with proof-of-concept work, product trials, and customer evaluation exercises.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on technical queries, product expectations, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare and present technical materials to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to discussions around servers, cloud, data center, HPC, and AI solutions.
  • Develop and sustain strong technical relationships with customers and partners.
  • Support local marketing initiatives from a technical standpoint when required.

Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, Telecommunications, or a similar field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Any internship, university assignment, lab work, research, or practical technical project experience will be an added advantage.
  • Basic familiarity with IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, data centers, HPC, or AI technologies.
  • Strong enthusiasm for emerging technologies, especially AI, deep learning, cloud computing, and high-performance computing.
  • Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and explaining technical topics in a clear manner.
  • Ability to adapt technical explanations for different audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Well-organized with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to build product knowledge and strengthen customer-facing technical capabilities.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills are required for daily interaction with customers, partners, and internal teams. Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.

Location and Employment

The role is based in Frankfurt, Germany and is a full-time onsite position.

Salary

The expected compensation is around €50,000 gross per year, depending on the candidate’s profile and experience.
