About the Role

CELINE is a renowned French house in leather goods, couture, and fashion, established in 1945 by Céline Vipiana and now part of the LVMH group. The UK Press Intern will support the UK press function and report directly to the Head of Public Relations – UK. The position suits someone who enjoys a busy, collaborative environment and works well with energetic, adaptable, and genuine colleagues.

Sample Movement Coordination

  • Record and label all new collections in Launchmetrics.
  • Pack samples and track every movement in Launchmetrics.
  • Arrange courier bookings for both domestic and overseas deliveries.
  • Prepare shipment paperwork for international dispatches, including commercial invoices.
  • Closely follow up on requests so deliveries and returns happen on time.

Sample Room and Showroom Organisation

  • Keep the showroom and sample storage areas well ordered so sample handling runs smoothly.
  • Archive past collections and support the ongoing archiving process.

Media Monitoring and Reporting

  • Scan and file all print coverage, and clip digital and social mentions for weekly reporting.
  • Store and maintain all coverage in the CELINE shared server.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain an accurate and current contact database in Launchmetrics.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the PR team.

Profile

The ideal candidate has an interest in public relations within fashion, brings strong organisation and initiative, and is comfortable supporting the team in a wide range of tasks. Prior exposure to a fast-moving press office is helpful. Experience with GPS Launchmetrics for both contacts and sample tracking is valuable, along with a solid understanding of the UK media environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and advanced Excel, are required. The role also calls for excellent spoken and written English, strong IT skills, a positive attitude, the ability to multitask under pressure, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
